About

The MOMS Club® Principles

• That women must be free to choose their personal path to fulfillment.
• That, for women who choose it, raising children is an important and fulfilling full-time job.
• That a family’s decision for a mother to stay home to raise the children often involves considerable financial sacrifice.
• That there is no one right way to raise children, but our members have a common concern in raising their children in a healthful way.

Monthly Socials

Our socials are open to all members and their children.  Events range from nature walks, holiday parties, visiting a local nursing home or fire station to playing at a local playground or crafts at a Mom's house. This is an opportunity for Moms and kids to play together.

Service Projects

We participate in many service projects through out the year.  From collecting school supplies for a local school in need to adopting a local family at the holidays and food donation for our local food bank.

Mother-To-Mother Fund

This is our official MOMS Club charity.  The Fund is 100% supported by donations from MOMS Club chapters.  This money is used to help MOMS Club members who have been affected by natural disasters and devastating personal emergencies.

Moms Night Out

We create opportunities for Moms to get together monthly with dinners out, movies, crafts, games, trivia and more.  This is a chance for us to connect as women as well as Moms.

Our Story

We are a support group designed just for you, the at-home mother! You are interested in the world around you, want a variety of activities for you and your children, and are proud of your choice of at-home mothering for your families! We know, because we’re at-home mothers, too!

You need a support group that understands your special needs as an at-home mother and we’re it! We are the first, largest and fastest growing support group specifically for ALL at-home mothers.

We know that you made a choice to be an at-home mother, and that choice is not easy in today’s world. We understand that being an at-home mother does not mean you “don’t work” — ALL mothers work, whether they work taking care of their children at home or work full-brim outside the home.

In fact, it’s pretty impossible to draw a line between at-home mothers and working mothers — indeed, it’s never been that simple. Many of our members do work for pay. Probably more than half do something that the Department of Labor considers makes them “working moms.” They work part time, they work in family businesses (often without pay), they work at home or they work out of the home full-time in schedules that allow them to be home with their children during the day. Mothers are very creative at how they afford to stay home to be with their children.

Because of that, it’s not easy to define what a working mother is. But, an at-home mother is one who is taking care of her children, herself. She may have help from family or part-time sitters or preschool, but overall, she has arranged her schedule to be able to raise her children, at-home, herself.

It’s those long day-time hours that can be so difficult for at-home mothers. That’s why the MOMS Club plans virtually all of our activities during the day, when at-home mothers most need the support.

And, that’s why our members can bring their children with them to just about everything we do. You don’t have to hire a sitter to go to one of our meetings. Having children with us is just part of being a mother-at-home and we understand that. We believe you should be able to participate in the community — with your children. Being an at-home mother should not isolate you.

We offer all sorts of activities for mothers and children. There are playgroups, socials, craft play dates and holiday parties, of course, because moms love that for their kids. But there are also stimulating activities specifically geared for the moms. Activity groups share interests like cooking, movies, crafts, outings, books and exercise.

We have at least one service project to benefit needy children in our community. That can be as simple as collecting school supplies and snacks  for children at a local school, adopting a local family at Christmas, or food donation for our local food bank.

If you’re looking for other at-home mothers and want a wide variety of activities for you and your children, we’re the group for you. We believe you are interesting and capable, and we can’t wait to meet you!
